Upcoming Movies Preview
Fall is a great time of year to take in a movie. With temperatures dropping outdoors, you can head inside, grab a tub of popcorn, and relax for a few hours as you enjoy the entertainment on screen. Here’s a look at an upcoming movies preview, as these are the ones that are worth taking in this fall.
Bridge of Spies
It’s harder to find two bigger names than Tom Hanks or Steven Spielberg. Hanks will be starring in this role as James Donovan, an attorney given the task of negotiating the release of Francis Gary Powers. Spielberg directs the movie based during the Cold War, and this one is expected to be one of the bigger hits of the season. Bridge of Spies hits theaters on 16th.
The Last Witch Hunter
The Last Witch Hunter stars Vin Diesel, as the action star battles paranormal beasts in this fall release. If you were a fan of Riddick, then you know that Diesel has the chops for these sort of Sci-Fi action films. Vin Diesel is one of the biggest names in the action industry, and we expect him to pack a punch in the Last Witch Hunter. This movie releases in late October.
Daniel Craig will reprise his role as Agent 007 in Spectre. In what may be his final role as James Bond, Craig will also be joined on screen by Christoph Waltz. Fans of the series are in for a treat with this new villain in the series, and winter is going to be hot with the latest in the James Bond franchise.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2
The only sequel that may be even more anticipated than Spectre this fall is likely to be the final installment in the Hunger Games series. Fans of the series have been waiting nearly two years since Mockingjay Part 1 was released, as this is the movie that will tie all the loose ends together. The Hunger Games is considered to be one of the most influential series of this generation. See what happens in the finale in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.
The Rocky franchise has been rebooted on many different occasions, but this one takes a new spin on the series. Creed stars Michael B. Jordan as the son of Apollo Creed, who we all know as the most infamous rival of Rocky Balboa. After his father dies, the younger Creed takes to Balboa’s training in hopes of making his own path as a professional fighter. Even though Jordan is coming off a lackluster review at the box office with Fantastic Four, we’re excited about the next installment in the Rocky series as Creed hits theaters on November 25th.
No matter what type of movie you’re in the mood for, there’s something for everyone this fall at the box office. Grab your jacket and get out there this season, because you’ll love cozying up with your favorite blockbuster this fall.
